More Cities Street View in Google Maps



Google adds street view imagery to Google Maps for San Diego (go Padres!), Los Angeles, Houston and Orlando, Fla.
The controversial Street View, which lets you virtually walk down a street and see ground-level, 360 photography of your surroundings, launched at the end of May with imagery of San Francisco, New York, Denver, Las Vegas and Miami.

It seems odd that Google is permitted to take pictures of playgrounds and schools as seen here:

This appears to be a privacy invasion. Especially when Google Street View captures the sign which says "Taking photographs is prohibited"!

yeha that is one awesome feature google added to their maps... i actually used it the other day to fin my dentist... i needed to know what the place looked like cause i've never been there before.. Great post!!
