Commodore Keyboard PC

Image
Looks like the Commodore computer will be making a comeback, but not in the way that we would expect. After all, who would want to pick up a keyboard computer that features the Commodore logo on the outside? Chances are it will be based on the Cybernet ZPC-GX31 configuration, although exact details and pricing will be released in due time. Guess the Eee Keyboard has nothing much to fear, eh?

HTC will Defend Itself Against Apple Lawsuit

Image
It is a no brainer that HTC will take steps to defend itself fully against Apple's actions, and in their own words, "HTC strongly advocates intellectual property protection and will continue to respect other innovators and their technologies as we have always done, but we will continue to embrace competition through our own innovation as a healthy way for consumers to get the best mobile experience possible.”  This coming from the company that brought us the first 3.5" color touchscreen smartphone in the world in the form of the O2 XDA, alongside other list of accolades which include the first Windows PDA, first Windows phone, first 3G CDMA EVDO smartphone, first gesture-based smartphone (take that, Apple!), first Google Android smartphone and first 4G WIMAX smartphone. This court battle looks set to be interesting.

Google TV Ready to Rock

Image
Google seems to be interested in dipping their fingers across a wide range of devices, and we have whiff of Google TV in the works. This ambitious platform looks set to deliver web content to Android-based set-top boxes as well as TVs through a series of partnerships including Sony, Intel and Logitech among others. Google has hopes that this new platform will be able to break the previous failures of prior efforts from other companies, with a bright spark that could seamlessly integrate web content onto TVs. According to The Times, Google TV will see set-top boxes that are powered by Intel Atom processors as well as those that run on an Android-based platform. Do you think that Google might be overextending themselves here?
